1st Appointment for House Selection

On 4th I was invited to select the flat. Appointment was at 8.15 am. So I was on leave that day. Met him at abt 8am in HDB Hub. Went inside the office and saw the officer. He ask us to sign in so many papers. But within 1hr everyhing was settled and paid the $2k. Blk 137 Lorong Ah Soo #09-536 is ours now. Feel so happy and exicted…the officer told me that after 2 weeks I can request the hdb officer to open the house to see. However on Tuesday tat means on the 5th itself a lady from hougang branch office called me and ask me when am I free to see the house.. I didn’t expect her call at all. I was so surprised and happy. I only can see the house during office hours. So I told her tat I will let her know.

Few days later when he was on MC I took time off and went lor ah soo to see the house.
Wow the house was very nice and huge…was so happy…
He already invited his friends to the house to watch football finals…

Now waiting for the 2nd appointment.. Where I will be given the key…THE KEY to MY house…:) after that I have abt 3 months to submit the marriage certificate. I will do my rom in my house

Now the planning period is quite fun. I didn’t expect him to be so involve in house decor… But he surprised me by getting so much involved in this. He everyday see the YouTube videos on house painting, house makeover… He have all kind of crazy ideas..all I need to do is sit back and relax and approve his ideas… hhehehehe

Hunt for house

I think most of you all know that I applied for house in May under Half yearly scheme in HDB. My number was 2000++. So i didnt get the change to choose any house that time. So I wanted to apply the next half yearly scheme, which was suppose to be on 10th day of Oct.

On 1st Oct morning at about 8plus I received a sms from my friend. It was a forwarded sms from HDB. It says that there are flats avaiable and ppl can buy. So immediately i applied for it. This is a new scheme combining half yearly and quarterly sales. They didnt mention any specific date, but just mentioned that the q# will be out in Nov.

So I waited for Nov. And Nov came and day passed by…On 30th Nov, I checked in HDB website for any news, there wasn’t any news about it. So out of curiousity, I called up HDB to check. The lady who answered my call said that I can check my q# after 4pm. It was 1pm wen I call HDB. I was so damn exicted… and couldn’t wait to get my q#. I was out with Juli that day. At 4pm i called HDB to check Q#. Unfortunatly, the  line was very busy, I guess everyone calling to check the their q# too. I called every 10 to 15mins to check. But end up getting disappointed.

Then at about 5pm, when i called, i was managed get thru and i heard my q# is 0001. I was like… WHAT???? I listened to it again to make sure i heard it correctly. I let Juli to hear too, just to make double, triple sure that my number is really 1. And yes… it is 1. I got number 1. OMG i cuoldnt believe myself… wat more can i ask for?? OMG  its the ultimate…i was damn damn happy… i called my bf and told him and called my parents to tell dem too… everyone were so damn happy for me.. even now… i couldnt believe it and cant stop thinking about it… i couldnt sleep after tat.. as i am thinking abt the house..,how to renovate it, what color, wat furniture…etc… I AM EXCITED! I AM DAMN DAMN EXCITED!!!!

Nothing much

I was listening to Vettaikaran songs the other day and now I am addicted to 2 songs from that movie. Pulli Urumuthu and Oru Chinna. Oh my god… these 2 songs I tell you..really really damn nice.. I just cant wait to see video clip for Oru Chinna song. I can somehow imagine how Pulli Urumuthu song gonna be like.. but i just cant wait to see Oru Chinna. Heard from the greatest Vijay fan that the movie gonna be released in Dec together with Goa movie. Goa gonna be another hit movie by Venkat Prabhu. Cant wait to see tat movie too. That means next month got 2 movies to watch..hurray!!!

Tomorrow i gonna watch 2012 with my darling. I saw one video about this 2012 thinggy.. was quite interesting.. if you all got time..watch it too..http://the2012deception.net/

Juli and I taking leave on Monday..we are still planning how to spend the day..however we have few thigns in mind.. but havent really decided…

I love year end… lots of public holidays and uni holiday… tat means less students… tat means less activites… tat means less work…tat also means less noisy..i love Nov & Dec.

This year, my sis coming to Singapore with her family…tat adds to my joy…:)
Its gonna be family reunion..hey!…. its always fun wen we 3 sisters get together..
This time I should take lot more photos with my sisters.

Then…. nothing much to say… I think my next post gonna take weeks probably months.. so till den… take care…have a great time..

Visit to Orchard

Went to Orchard last Saturday with Qiuli. Had a very late lunch at Sakura. Thanks to Qiuli who came very late. Far East was irresistible.. we wanted to get out of there.. but we end up going inside each and every shops there..
Met Qiuli’s BF.actaully he was not that bad… We took lots of pictures.. Orchard road was so bright..and colourful… and ofcourse crowded too.. there were so many ppl with dslr cameras…i felt “paiseh” carrying my canon old camera… this motivted me to buy a good camera.. anyway i took some nice pictures with this old camera too.. go to siddeeqa.blogspot.com for more pictures.
